Prayer is a life changer at Eastside. But how and what do I pray for?
How do I pray?
-Adoration. Spend some time adoring God for who He is. God is kind. God is merciful. God is wise. God is just. etc.d
-Confession. Offer prayer of confession for sins.
-Thanksgiving. Thank God for what He has done for us as a church and as individuals.
-Supplication. Pray for our needs. Your personal needs and the needs of other.
For What Should I Pray?
-Pray for our upcoming "big events" at Eastside. Mission trips. Vacation Bible School, Summer Camp, service projects - all the leaders and young people involved.
-Pray for our elders. Pray for wisdom for the decisions thy must make as they lead us to worship and serve God.
-For for our ministers and staff. Pray for their responsibilities that help this church be what God wants it to be.
-For our nation. Pray for our leaders. Pray for our troops. Pray for our families. Pray for the many people who need Jesus Christ in their lives.
-Pray for the Outreach at Eastside. Pray for our jail ministry. Pray for our jail correspondence course ministry. Pray for our mission efforts. Pray for our home Bible studies.
-Pray for God to protect our marriages from temptation.
-Pray for healing for those afflicted by illness and cancer.
-Just Pray.
